How do you recommend kids taking Ormus? Is this totally ok? I have a 2 year old.
How much Ormus should my 11 year old son take?
I am wondering the risks/benefits of pursuing Ormus in pregnancy.
Chris Emmons replies: Hi. Thank you for reaching out and writing. These are certainly key questions for each of us.
As you may surmise, no person can advise, legally or with good conscious, the amount of Ormus to take or whom may or may not take Ormus. We may share what we take, maybe what we have heard that others have taken -if we feel their share has been an honest one. Once an individual begins taking Ormus, most, over time, do not take Ormus every day. I, an adult, take ½ teaspoon a day---and some days I don’t take Ormus.
There is much food for thought on supplementing with Ormus. Supplementation is a choice that is made. The topic of Ormus in Human is detailed, long and winding.
But the subject is indeed one that needs to be well understood and the individual/parent/parents who read this will hopefully think seriously about all the benefits of good nutrition and any needed supplements.
A summary of amounts taken in infant, young children, pre-puberty children, during puberty and adult is detailed further in Part Ten.
THE GOVERNMENT’S RDA VALUE
We begin with an eye-opening account of the history of the government’s Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for minerals.
The National Research Council (US) Subcommittee is tasked with calculating mineral RDA.
During calculations the subcommittee regularly assumes that within healthy people are some mineral stores in the body. It further assumes what may be the size of these stores which are needed and used as a reserve against periods of negative mineral balance.
The subcommittee noted that “a number of minerals lack analysis methods to diagnose their status in the body.
They recorded for the record that RDA amounts are a value-judgment based on reasonable assumptions. (I.E. rather than scientific determination).
This position is understandable since there are definite and multiple variables in mineral absorption, its storage and excretion from the body.
These variables include but are not limited to: Variance with age, sex, health, physiological activity, dietary components, pregnancy, lactation, individual genetics, processing or lack of processing of food and bioavailability of the mineral from the diet.
These variances cause difficulty in estimating RDA requirement.
The actual availability of minerals in the soil -and hence their presence or lack of in food itself, is a variable that was not addressed or reviewed by the subcommittee.
Thus we must recognize that deciding whether to supplement with minerals, macro and/or trace, (even colloidal) is a personal one where we individually take full responsibility.
THE STATE OF LABORATORY TESTING OF MINERAL MOVEMENT THRU THE BODY
The Appropriate cut-off value and dosage range for minerals and vitamins in the body are debated.
There is a growing need for methods and options, based on research in place of value judgements, which standardize testing,
This includes discovery, development and implementation of reliable and valid biomarker lab tests which assess the real status of minerals and vitamins in the body.
With these tests, the biological mechanism of each mineral and vitamin within the body can be understood.
Clearly there is a way to go before valid long term bio-marker lab testss are developed which show and standardize the actual level of minerals and vitamins in the body.
Follows is a list of some normal routes of trace mineral excretion from the body:
Bile (liver): Sodium, Chloride, Copper, Manganese, Chromium, Zinc
Urine : Sodium, Chloride, Cobalt, Chromium, Molybdenum, Zinc
Pancreatic juice: Zinc

MINERALS IN THE SOIL; SENATE DOCUMENT #264

In 1936 Senator, Mr. Duncan Fletcher, Democrat of Florida, did the best he could to alert the public. On June 5 he addressed the 74th Congress, 2nd Session, a joint session of the congress and the senate, regarding depletion of minerals from our agricultural soil. In short he warned: “Laboratory tests prove that the fruits, vegetables, grains, eggs and even the milk and meats of today are not what they were a few generations ago. No man of today can eat enough fruits and vegetables to supply his system with the mineral salts he requires for perfect health…” “The alarming fact is that foods – fruits, vegetables and grains – now being raised on millions of acres of land that no longer contains enough of certain needed nutrients, are starving us — no matter how much we eat of them.”
While no forward action was taken, Senator Fletcher asked that the document be filed as a permanent Congressional record.
Thus it became “U.S. Senate document 264”.
This documentation, based on the agricultural practices of Dr. Charles Northen, provides some of the most convincing arguments ever made regarding mineral nutrition -and the need for better growing methods.

While Senate Document 264 addresses mineral requirements of the physical body the obscured awareness is that we embody more than just a body. Each of us is comprised of four distinct aspects.
In addition to having a physical body we have the Mental, Emotional and Spiritual parts. When the physical body is properly nourished, these other three aspects are also more energetic. Hence increased vibrancy from proper mineral intake affects all the facets of ourselves.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: MINERAL AND OTHER SUPPLEMENTS
There are those who use Ormus in plants, animals and themselves. This is done 100% at their own risk. The individual chooses how much to use and there is nothing implied or guaranteed regarding Ormus.
It is up to you alone, an individual, to think seriously about all the benefits of good nutrition and any needed supplements.
The people who supplement with Ormus are part of their own ongoing personal research.
Personal research observation over time is scientific research. We have close to 25 years of observation from 1,000’s who globally used Ormus versus no one I know of making any complaint that Ormus “hurt me”. Instead, comments include feeling better; so much that Ormus is forgotten to be taken. Many report they feel very calm, connected, focused and energized. Another explained that he had stints put in 25 year ago that are still just fine while four others who had stints then needed replacement after 5-6 years.
ORMUS EFFECT IN HEALTH
Ormus contains trace minerals and the m-state form of the minerals. There are reports from people who supplemented with Ormus that their health challenge was overcome.
Folks who have taken Ormus have also had colds, flu, aches, pains. An added comment made was that a lady had an anaerobic bug and Ormus didn’t touch it.
The Ormus effect feeds your life-force energy. Hence, this supplement is pro-vitality rather than anti-disease.
Ormus didn’t cure any disease. If a disease cured without medical treatment the vitalized body won over the physical disease. I.E., Cancer is a physical malfunction. Fibromyalgia is a physical malfunction.
Added is what everyone probably already knows: Healing is not an absolute. The life force energy in a body may just not be strong enough to overcome the disease force energy. Sometimes being hard to verbalize, it’s just our time to go.

An Ormus investigator, doing his own personal ongoing research, explained that Ormus fuels the light body; the light body housed in us drives the physical body. He understands it to be that if the light body is too powerful, the physical body can be overpowered (burn out the physical) and that is why he doesn’t want to ingest large amounts or excessive amounts over a long period.
He added: Easy does it and pay attention to what your body says to you. Pay attention to how you feel and keep a note book if you cannot remember. Simple notes can help you more fully understand if the supplement is helping or hindering. As we get a bit older this is even more important because we often have much more on our minds and may not recall just how one felt two days ago in the early am.

In infant, young children and pre-puberty children
It may be a benefit to apply the topical, milder form of Ormus called Live Oil. In infants and very young children a suggestion is to apply to the soles of the feet since here the pores in the body are larger.
As the child grows older, you may consider incrementally placing live oil on additional areas of the body such as: The base of the spine, up the vertebrae of the spine, the area where the spine meets the head, the forehead area between the eyes and hands and wrists.

During puberty
Once clear signs of puberty occur it may be a benefit to supplement at ½ the calculated minimum amount for an adult (as detailed in the Ormus Modern Day Alchemy book and referred to in the adult section that is next). Puberty occurs sometime between age 9 and 14.

In adult
The age at which a person is physiologically an adult is age 17 for females and age 18 for males.
Regarding how much Ormus to use or how often to take is a personal decision, personal responsibility and everyone makes their own individual determination.
The book, Ormus Modern Day Alchemy, offers a suggestion for the amount of Ormus that may be useful. The Ormus is taken on an empty stomach, either diluted with water or some water is taken after.

“The very low daily dosage rate is 0.02 to 0.05 milliliters per kilogram of body weight in animals. Thus approximately 1/5 to 1/2 teaspoon per 100lbs may be a suggested range (www.sea-crop.com) ...and since we are also an animal we could utilize the same calculation.
There are reports from adults that they have taken anywhere from 1/8 teaspoon, ¼ teaspoon, ½ teaspoon, 1 teaspoon to 3 teaspoon a day. Some take just drops of Ormus. They take the Ormus at one time a day or split the amount into two times a day.
Caveat: Over time, people migrated away from 3 teaspoons because Ormus is concentrated trace minerals. Taking more than needed can over-fuel the body. Anything too much is not good. Trace minerals, also called microminerals, are required to run the biological and hormonal function of the body -but in only small amounts. Today, a generally held thought is to take drops to 1/8, ¼, ½, or 1 teaspoon, once daily, rarely twice a day. After a few doses, your intuition will assist you in fine-tuning the amount to take and how often.
Using Seacrop’s suggestion, let's determine such a rate for a 180 lb man. Since there are 2.2 pounds in kilogram this man weighs 82 kilograms (180 divided by 2.2). The range for Ormus in a person may begin at 0.04 ml per kilogram. Therefore this man receives 3.3 ml of Ormus (82 kg x 0.04 ml). The 3.3 ml is taken once a day, upon arising followed by breakfast 20-30 minutes later. (This may be divided in two and taken twice a day.) “
Ormus Effects:
Most report they feel better when they use Ormus. They feel very calm, connected, focused and energized. Ormus supports health, promotes brain coherence, mental clarity and increased level of awareness -which is linked to consciousness and falls in the realm of Spirit.
-Giving Ormus mineral nutrients to an undersupplied body causes it to vitalize. Likewise, a vitalized mind can alter its mental state; it can improve your outlook, change your interpretations, and even reach a transcendental state; feeling euphoric and relaxed from good stress tolerance. A vitalized body may affect sleep. A suggestion may be to lower the amount of Ormus and/or take in morning, not evening.
-The beneficial effects seen after Ormus are from nutrients, not a drug.
Ormus fuels physical, mental, emotional and spiritual processes. The imparted energy from Ormus begins new direction(s) that are integrated physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. This requires work as each of these areas has to catch up -and this takes Time. This is especially so for a physical body in poorer health. Give bodily systems the time it takes, Ormus is doing the work regardless if perceptible change is felt or not.
When not enough minerals are in the body, life force is affected, diminished, and if too much, the physical body can be negatively affected. Keep in mind that anything too much is not good; now there are reports that too much orange juice causes melanoma, and in the young too much vitamin C can precipitate heart attack. Another person commented that too much vitamin B-12 and “you have to peel me off the ceiling” (too much excitatory energy). With Ormus, like any other supplement, more is not necessarily better.
If you a sensitive etheric or physical system, a lower starting amount is a suggestion. If you are doing well on a lower amount that is probably all you need.
A suggestion made when beginning Ormus is to supplement for a couple days then stop for a couple days. Do not take much: some choose to take drops and others 1/8 or ¼ teaspoon. This allows the body time to initially absorb the new level of energy and new direction.
I have been told by one who was new to Ormus that he felt a headache on day one. (Possibly due to the physical body responding to the new level of energy.) During day two he thought to stop the Ormus and did so for two days. When he began again no headache occurred or since. Some just regularly take holidays from Ormus supplementing for a few days or awhile -some don’t.
Each occurrence after beginning Ormus is unique-just as each of us are. We have our different lifestyles, diet, DNA ect. There is a good chance you will quickly or soon feel a consciously noticeable shift somewhere within your physical, emotional, mental and/or spiritual being.
The key in assessing how things are going after beginning Ormus is to pay attention to how you feel. Since most will not remember how they felt 4days, 10days or earlier, it is always a good idea to write down notes . The best records will show how you feel first thing upon arising and/or just before going to bed. These notes can help to more fully correlate effects after supplementing with Ormus.
Final Thoughts:
-Ormus is best taken on an empty stomach for best absorption: perhaps 20 minutes before eating or 2 hours after a meal.
-Hold the Ormus under the tongue for 15 seconds.
-To further absorption and bioavailability, Ormus is followed with a small amount of water.
-To mimic the action of a time-release formulation, some place the Ormus in their water container and drink throughout the day.
-Ormus is often taken prior to the day’s activity. For most this is in the morning, while some report that Ormus taken in the evening has kept them alert, others fall asleep easily. They cite that bedtime is beneficial since during sleep Ormus can assist the body as it repairs and maintains itself.
Some take Ormus daily and others skip days.
During Pregnancy
Many articles and reviews report on the requirement of trace minerals during pregnancy.

It begins: “Trace minerals are essential for a variety of cellular processes, and their deficiency has been linked to complications of pregnancy such as preeclampsia, preterm delivery and small for gestational age babies.”
When making a decision to supplement with Ormus, some may choose to apply the topical, milder form of Ormus called Live Oil.
People have shared their experience when supplementing with Ormus during pregnancy.
One report noted a “significant difference in energy level and physical being” which was described as “extremely positive”. This after 3 drops of Ormus. I sleep better than I have in years and my physical being just feels better.”
